cabinets are going in!! Randy is very handy!! He had to rebuild one of my cabinets too...so far it's looking good!!
kitchen counters went in!! They got it done super fast too!! my appliances were also delivered because they needed the stove to measure something...

the stucco is finally going up!! we need the stucco in so the A/C can go in so we can do the wood floor...

now it has been cool enough that we don't need the A/C...but at least the stucco is getting done!!

BFCFAIR 2010!!

We are so glad that Julia and Tim and Olivia got to go to the fair with us this year!! They lasted the entire day with us too!!
Here we are with the infamous elephant ears...between all of us we ate...6!! Tim & Julia also enjoyed other fair foods...maybe I will let the girls try more out next year...maybe...
The girls earned lots of ribbons for their first time entering the fair. Mikenna earned another big ribbon..the people's choice!! I am not sure why, but she calls it her "ugly" picture. Hmmm.....I think I need to lay all of their paintings out and photo them...
Great fun with fun family and friends!!

A lot of FUN!!

Julia & Tim talked Aaron into doing plyo with them during lunch...some of the kiddos joined in...
Olivia chilling on the soon to be kaput pool cover...the weather wasn't too cooperative while Tim was here, but they were still able to get a few swim sessions in...
...chowing at BK...actually that's what the kiddos ate...adults "dined" on greek food that we "snuck" into BK...Here also is Mike holding Olivia...which he hasn't been able to do much because of his injuries...he also didn't think he should go bowling since his ribs are still sore, but he managed a few games...
Poor little Olivia was EXHAUSTED...the kids sure enjoyed bowling tho :)

Tim's here!!

The girls LOVE their Uncle Tim!!
...here were at Red Robin...our family favorite in case you didn't know. Olivia thought it was fun to stick the crayon in her ear. We had fun entertaining her with a cell phone that Tim called her on and then sang to her...
Shopping...for clothes...Tim was such a great sport to hang out with us girls...especially doing things we could have done before he got here :)
Took a break from tiling to SWIM!! Even Mike was able to get in the pool with everyone...it sure does get CRAZY in that pool!!

My brother found some fo Julia's heels...for some reason he thought he could wear them...

Kiera's 9th B-day!!

(Just because you asked Pauline:)

Kiera had no special requests for a b-day cake this year...except for an ice cream cake...maybe something about a bunny too...but...I just stuck with ice cream...so...Julia and I came up with 3 layers...Chocolate with oreos, vanilla cookie dough, & vanilla with snickers...with oreo crumbs in between and whipped topping on the outside...
...with of course the o-so-lovely beads...Julia thought of the idea to throw them onto the cake...placing them strategically just wasn't working...if you look closely, you may notice how Julia is "delicately" throwing the beads on...several at a time...I think at least 1/2 ended up on the floor :P
Then, the delima of where to put the oh so tall cake...I had cleared a place in the garage freezer...but the darn freezer isn't a frost free one and the frost took up space I needed...we quickly emptied out 1/2 of another freezer, which as I was trying to get the cake in-the other half fell out :S Anyhow, safe & sound in a nice cold freezer the cake went :)
Here she is, my 9 year old!! With her favorite cousin of the hour...OLIVIA!!
Julia set up a cute tea party...we put together flower clips and headbands right before...and then outside for swimming !! Family bbq afterwards...

Happy Birthday to KIERA!!
