No, we didn't catch her with her eyes closed. Michael found her like this after she had fallen asleep. She recently found this toy cell phone, and has been obsessed with it a lot lately. I wonder who she was talking to...

Today is my dad's 65th birthday. I love my dad. He isn't perfect (but who is?) but he is always working to do his best. He has a strong testimony of the gospel. I'm always amazed at how he can sneak the church into any conversation. Doesn't matter where or who he is with, he is ready to share his testimony. My dad loves to serve others. Is offering a helping hand to any in need. Is ready to share his home with those who will enter. He loves his family and loves spending time with his grandkids. I love my dad.

I am not loving Granny's buffet as much. (We went there to celebrate my dad's birthday last night.) However, because they have re-established their family/kids night (Thursdays) it is fairly tolerable. The kids loved it!! Once they finished their meal, they ran over to the kids section, played games, jumped rope, colored and got their hands painted. It was nice. We missed Uncle Larry the clown tho.

Tonight we had my parents over to play Blokus and the dice game. My mom was a lucky roller. My dad tried to follow her example, but came in last.
